Sydney security projects
With more than 25 years’ experience, Matryx has a longstanding reputation in the security industry in Sydney.
QVB
Securing one of Sydney’s most prominent and heritage listed retail properties.
QVB is an iconic CBD property – heritage listed and the busiest Sydney shopping centre for pedestrian traffic, thanks to its location. Matryx undertook a risk assessment and designed an enterprise CCTV system and IT network.
We worked from the project’s inception, determining what the property group wanted to achieve and assessing the nuances of its heritage restrictions. As part of their Tender Selection Panel, we helped the client engage the best contractors, then followed up with witness testing for compliance.
What we do protects not only properties, but importantly the people of Sydney.
University of Technology, Sydney
Help to protect crowded places at a university campus.
Australia has a strategy for protecting crowded places from terrorist behaviours. As such, large public spaces need specialised risk assessments and security solutions.
UTS engaged Matryx to undertake a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation review. We analysed the campus for risks and solutions related to dangerous driving with malicious intent to injure crowds.
With our review and recommendations, UTS was able to implement effective protective security.
Pallion Group
Securing a precious metals facility in Sydney.
Pallion Group is the largest fully integrated precious metal services group in Australasia.
Matryx was engaged to design their new high-security facility in Sydney, Custodian Vaults. New security systems involved the selection, design, documentation, procurement, and witness testing.
Since then, we have provided regular security risk assessments, security management plans, and assisted with the creation of standard operating procedures.
More recently, we gave input into securing digital assets such as Bitcoin, which they can now safely store for clients.
