Townsville City Council: Leading a Smarter Approach to Community Safety
Townsville City Council engaged Matryx Consulting to strengthen its approach to community safety and crime prevention across a large and complex operating environment.
Responsible for over $5.4 billion in assets and more than 300 sites, the council sought a consistent, organisation-wide security framework.
Over a 12-month engagement, Matryx reviewed security risks affecting staff, community members, infrastructure and events. This included access control, CCTV, incident response, training and partnerships with external agencies.
The result was a comprehensive security program underpinned by CPTED principles and data-driven insights, improving resilience, operational efficiency and fostering a security-aware culture across the organisation.
Brimbank City Council: Leading the Way in Staff Safety
As a major provider of essential community services, Brimbank City Council took a proactive approach to strengthening safety for its workforce.
