Brisbane security projects
With more than 30 years of experience, Matryx has a longstanding reputation in the security industry in Brisbane. When businesses and organisations view physical safety as imperative to operations, we’re proud that they turn to us for help.

QLD Health
Secure Central Pharmacy Facility
Queensland Health approved the establishment of a new 8,000sqm warehouse to accommodate Central Pharmacy operations, supporting the storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals to hospitals statewide. Project Consulting was engaged as the security specialist to ensure compliance with Section 9 and 10 of the TGA’s Australian Code of Good Wholesaling Practice for Medicines and Queensland Health’s Standard for secure storage of Schedule 8 medicines. Our work included a comprehensive risk assessment, review of construction and fit-out plans, and development of a security risk management plan. Final sign-off confirmed the facility met regulatory and licensing requirements for safe pharmaceutical storage.

Bank of QLD
Smart, secure, people-focussed design
The Bank of Queensland’s new head office at the Gasworks development in Brisbane required a very high level of security without compromising usability. Occupying five levels, the tenancy demanded protection against risks common to major financial institutions while ensuring smooth daily operations. Matryx Consulting delivered an integrated electronic security design incorporating access control, intrusion detection, CCTV and biometrics for sensitive areas. High-security credentials and innovative car park-to-office technologies ensured staff and executives could move securely through the building with minimal disruption.

Southbank
Enhancing security across public spaces
South Bank Corporation sought to expand and upgrade its surveillance network to improve safety and coverage across Brisbane’s iconic South Bank precinct. Matryx Consulting was engaged to lead the tender management process, ensuring the project attracted strong market responses. We prepared the technical specifications and tender schedules, clearly outlining requirements for supply, installation, and commissioning of new surveillance infrastructure. Our role included guiding the process end-to-end, from documentation through to contractor evaluation. The result was the engagement of experienced specialists capable of integrating new cameras and network paths seamlessly into the existing system, enhancing security for community spaces.
