Sunbury City Council

Matryx Consulting was engaged by Hume City Council to undertake the design and documentation of a Safe‐City CCTV system for the city of Sunbury, Victoria.

Located 40 kilometres north west of the Melbourne central business district, Sunbury is home to more than 30,000 residents. The requirement for CCTV to be deployed to the Sunbury city centre began with a funding pledge by a local government minister during the previous election campaign. Read more | Download PDF


Hobart City Council

Matryx Consulting was awarded a contract to undertake a security risk assessment and redesign of electronic security at the Hobart Council Centre, Tasmania.

The Council Centre is a major CBD property that was constructed between 1920 and 1940 and was previously owned and occupied by the Hydro Electric Commission. The design of the building presented many challenges from a safety and security perspective for Council staff and visitors because of the lack of entrance control mechanisms. Maitland City Council

The city of Maitland is located approximately 160 kilometres north of Sydney in the lower Hunter Valley region of New South Wales.

Matryx was engaged by the Council to undertake a review of a council premises which were becoming a constant target for intrusions. The brief was to review existing security technologies and practices and to make recommendations on how to harden the depot facility and reduce the risk of loss. Read more | Download PDF

Woollahra Municipal Council

Located in Watsons Bay, New South Wales, Gap Park is one of Sydney’s most popular points of interest, offering spectacular elevated views of Sydney Harbour, the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, and the Sydney CBD. Sadly however, it had become a favoured spot for many years for people wishing to end their lives, with numerous incidents occurring each year.

Tablelands Regional Council

The Tablelands Regional Council in Queensland oversees 11 town centres and some 64,000 square kilometres of land area making it one of the larger councils in Australia.

Matryx Consulting was selected by the council to undertake the design of a networked CCTV system. The initial design will see cameras located in the central business district of Mareeba, and will include a networked video recorder and wireless communications links to allow remote monitoring from within the Mareeba Police Station. Wagga Wagga City Council

The rural city of Wagga Wagga is located just over 400 kilometres south west of Sydney and is regarded as New South Wale’s largest inland city. It is home to more than 63,000 permanent residents as well as a high transient population due to its central location between Sydney and Melbourne.
